ABS type approval: X-904
The X-904 Personnel Transfer Device holds a current ABS Confirmation of Product Type Approval, with its Product Design Assessment, Manufacturing Assessment and Product Quality Assurance endorsements valid into 2030.

ABS type approval: X-1000
The X-1000-4 holds ABS type approval (25-0393000-PDA, valid to September 18th, 2030) for personnel transfers by crane. Each unit is proof load tested in the presence of an ABS surveyor as part of ABS unit certification.

ABS type approval: OMB-2 and OMB-4 work baskets
The OMB-2 and OMB-4 hold ABS type approval (25-0206262-PDA) as suspended work baskets, assessed to ASME B30.23-2022. They are for lifting personnel to work at height, not for personnel transfer.

ABS certification is optional and is offered for a fee on units that require it. Type-approved units carry an ABS tag. Ask us for the certificate for your unit.
How units are tested
Every X-904 is proof-load tested at our Corpus Christi plant before it ships, and each test is recorded.
